2024 SYDNEY CDI - Update for competitors

The Sydney CDI 2024 will offer a comprehensive programme, featuring a CDI 1* for FEI Small Tour Horses; a CDI 3* for Grand Prix level, a CDIU25, CDIY, CDIJ as well as all FEI level competitions conducted as CDN (national competitions). The NSW Young Horse Championships and Advanced competitions, including AOR Advanced will be included.

UPDATE: FEI Pony competitions will be added as either CDN or CDIP, status to be confirmed. Qualifications will be the same as for the CDIJ

We have changed the timetable to allow riders to enter tests on consecutive days without a rest day in between. The competition programme has been decided and you can find an overview of what’s on each day on the event website.

Entries will close on Wed. 20 March 2024.  We will consider results from DJWTS and other events held from 20-24 March if riders are short of qualifying scores.

Qualifications will be similar to 2023.  We will confirm the qualification requirements when the 2024 EA Dressage Rules are available.  Below is subject to any rule updates and will be confirmed on the schedule.

Sustainability and Longevity:

In 2023 our expenses exceeded projections significantly.  As a result, we will be raising entry and related fees in 2024 by a minimum of 10%.

This fee adjustment is essential for maintaining the event’s financial stability, ensuring its continued success, and offering lasting opportunities for dressage enthusiasts.
